FAQ’s

What do you teach?

In our preschool classes we have many activities, games, crafts and stories and they all point to three basic things: God Made Me, God Loves Me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever.  Each week we look at a different story or character in the Bible that teaches one of these major themes.

For school age students, we focus on a core virtue each month building on three basic truths: I need to make wise choices, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

How are the ages separated?

We have 4 basic age groups: infants, toddlers, preschool, and school age.  Infants include all babies under 1 year and not walking.  Toddlers include children over 1 year old and walking.  Preschoolers are children that have turned 3 years old and are fully potty trained.  School age children are in Kindergarten through 5th grade.  For some activities such as a games and teaching times, these groups may be separated into smaller groups.

How can I be sure my child is safe?

Safety is our highest priority!  When you check-in your child, you will be given a secure code tag that matches the code on your child’s name tag.  That matching code must be presented at pick-up before your child can be released.

Our volunteers undergo a background check before they work with our children.  They also wear a green RidgeKids t-shirt each week they serve for easy identification.

How do I register my child(ren) for Sunday morning?

There is a family registration card at the RidgeKids Check-In table you can fill out or click here to print it and bring it with you. Registering your child will allow us to check him/her into our secure system. This information will be entered into our system and kept private.
